Presented for the first time over twenty years ago, Antares has appeared in almost all the Grand Tour since then. Related with our innovative adaptive padding, Antares is ready to make history again. Designed to offer both performance and comfort, from the road to cyclocross and cross-country, L'Antares R1 Adaptive allows you to save weight thanks to a newly concept 7x9 mm carbon track.

3D printed padding

L'3D printed Fizik adaptive padding has been extended to the Antares family, creating the perfect solution for those who want exceptional and lasting comfort on a high -performance saddle with a low profile, designed to allow a feeling of greater connection for a pedaling efficiency and an optimal power transfer.

Tailor -made zonal cushioning

L'Evolution of digital 3D printing has allowed us to develop a new saddle without the constraints or limitations imposed by production methods and traditional materials. L'Padding of the Adaptive Sella is made by Carbon® using their revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis ™ technology. DLS is an additive production process that uses the projection of digital ultraviolet light, oxygen permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish.

Tested in the laboratory, tried on the road

Using Carbon® technology, biomechanics and engineers have an unprecedented possibility: to design and create multiple functional areas within the saddle, adjusting each of them separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional areas is designed for a distinctive softening and mechanical response, gradually and seamlessly united in the same padding. The result? A 60% reduction in peak pressure through a better weight distribution for greater comfort on the entire surface of the saddle.

Power transfer and pressure release

Antares is a low -profile saddle with a transition rake from the tip to the wing that helps cyclists to pedal efficiently in every driving position. L'3D printed padding offers a reactive and ready -made sensation to better connect the cyclist and the bike. Thanks to this technology, we are able to incorporate a softer central area instead of a traditional cutout to provide better relief from pressure without sacrificing performance. It doesn't matter if you are facing a climb or keeping the rhythm on flat ground, Antares R1 Adaptive is designed to support you.
