Design philosophy

The flagship piece of Endura's Aero collection, the Encapsulator Suit™, represents the pinnacle of aerodynamic clothing for the speed-obsessed rider. Using cutting-edge Drag2Zero (D2Z) technology, the skin suit has been tested in multiple races in the UCI WorldTour. On the track the bodysuit helped both Alex Dowsett and Bridie O'Donnell break UCI Hour Records and make their mark on cycling history.

Over 80 different samples were created, tested and modified to get to the point we are finally at, ready to launch it to a wider market. Optimized for speeds above 45 km/h and in the TT position, the Encapsulator Suit™ is the ideal solution for all time trial racers looking to reach a new level.

Optimized for a speed range of 46-58KPH (28-36MPH) in the TT.

While most other brands test at a single speed, Endura Drag2Zero® understands critical variations in aerodynamic efficiency at different speeds and in different riding positions. For example, a suit optimized for a TT rider, averaging 50km/h in an aggressive aerodynamic position, is not necessarily the fastest suit for a rider on a road bike, looking to achieve his sport PB with an average of 35 km/h. The development of the Endura D2Z® collection around this broader philosophy has resulted in products that are carefully tuned to the needs of the target cyclist, not only faster in a selected data range but across a range of different speeds.
