Unwanted products

Conditions

To proceed with the return, the products must be in presentable and suitable conditions. 

The products do not have expiration dates (food, body products, etc.), are tailor-made, personalized, or non-catalogue items ordered on request ("made to order").

Instructions

Send an email to info@evolutionbikes.com where you communicate the return and wait for confirmation and the return number.

Upon confirmation, you must adequately package the goods and the original packaging itself in order to guarantee integrity during transport and insert proof of purchase (such as the order summary or invoice).

Send the package via post or courier according to your preferences. We recommend a standard shipping service with tracking as the sender will be responsible for any damage, non-delivery or delays. The return costs (shipping/packaging costs) are borne by the customer.

Once received, the products will be subjected to a thorough check to ensure they satisfy the return conditions. At the slightest sign of use, the return is rejected (this is because EVOLUTION BIKES cares that each user receives the material perfectly new and unused).

Within 14 working days of receiving the goods, having passed the inspection:

The value of the returned products will be refunded, net of shipping costs which are borne by the Customer.

The refund will be made with the same payment method chosen at the time of purchase and the credit may take a few days before it can be viewed (depending on the type of card used). Note: If you wish to exchange a product for another you must return it and a voucher will be issued to use in a new order.

If promotional codes were used in the returned order, they will no longer be reusable.

If goods are received that do not comply with the return conditions or are damaged due to incorrect use by the customer, the refund will be denied (with subsequent reshipment of the goods at the customer's expense) or partially executed.

Defective products (just received)

Evolution Bikes carries out checks on the products before sending them, but if you find a defect in the product within 14 days of receipt, please contact us to report the problem in order to evaluate whether it can be resolved without returning it and, if necessary, Evolution Bikes will, in most cases, collect with its own courier.

Products whose problem requires verification by the supplier/manufacturer are excluded. In this case, you will need to follow the warranty procedure.

Products under warranty

All products purchased on Evolution Bikes are covered by the official manufacturer's warranty for 24 months from receipt of the goods. The warranty will be applied to the product that presents defects of conformity and/or functioning not detectable at the time of purchase. If you have just received the product, see the Defective Products (Newly Received) section.

Conditions

There are exceptions in which the guarantee may have a shorter or longer duration. Lithium batteries used to power high-power lights, for example, have a limited warranty of 6 months as they are considered consumables.

Products whose problem is due to wear and/or deterioration such as tyres, brake wires, pads, chains, cassettes, batteries etc. are not subject to warranty. food products, such as supplements and drinks.

The warranty does not apply in the event of incorrect installation of the product, poor maintenance, abuse or negligence, incorrect and/or fraudulent use of the product, alteration of the same or unauthorized repair attempts.

The guarantee is personal, therefore applicable to the original purchaser.

In most cases we will carry out the collection with our shipping service which will involve a deposit of 10 euros for the customer and 20 euros for bulky items, which will be fully refunded once the supplier confirms the guarantee. In certain situations the collection service may not be available, therefore the customer will arrange with customer service to send the products (with tracking code), the shipping costs of which will be subsequently reimbursed by Evolution Bikes. It will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, in any case the value of a standard economical shipment will be refunded.

Within 7 working days of receiving the goods, Evolution Bikes will contact the customer informing him of the time required for verification and any warranty on the product, which varies depending on the manufacturer/supplier.

In the event that the manufacturer/supplier confirms the warranty for the defect found, we will proceed with replacement, repair, or, at Evolution Bikes' discretion, a voucher for the value of the product. If it is not possible to repair or replace the product, Evolution Bikes reserves the right to propose an alternative of equal or greater value. In some cases, once the warranty has been confirmed by the manufacturer/supplier, Evolution Bikes can advance the product if available in stock.

Note:

If the supplier/manufacturer rejects the guarantee for any reason (e.g. non-existent defect, conditions of use or installation not respected, etc.), the security deposit will be lost (to cover the costs of collecting the product)

Packages received without a return number, properly completed warranty form and proof of purchase will be rejected.

Sending errors

In case of incorrect items sent by Evolution Bikes please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package. We will resolve the problem as quickly as possible at no cost to the customer.

Wrong size replacement

In the case of items purchased with the wrong size/measurement, proceed as with unwanted products.

Bulky products

For bicycles or bulky products to be returned, we recommend contacting us first for some suggestions and to check if there is the possibility of collection by our courier with cheaper rates. We recommend keeping the original packaging for a possible return.

Made to order products

If you purchase a "made to order" product, it is not possible in any way to modify or cancel the order once it has been placed. It is not even possible to apply the right of withdrawal, nor request a refund or the issue of a voucher for the value of the goods ordered for a replacement of the aforementioned with any other product, as these are goods specifically assorted according to the customer's specifications and not available in our warehouse. The waiting time is approximate and is indicated in working days. If there are significant delays on the part of the supplier, Customer Service will promptly contact the customer to inform him and, in certain cases of excessive delay on the part of the manufacturer/supplier, Evolution Bikes reserves the right the right to propose cancellation of the order and refund.
