The new Speed ​​CMPTZN DB wheels have been designed to provide the most demanding cyclists with the same quality that Fulcrum reserves for World Tour athletes.
The Speed ​​55 CMPTZN DB is in fact the choice of Elia Viviani of Team Cofidis.
One glance is enough to perceive the first innovation of the Speed ​​CMPTZN DB wheels. The new models in fact share the Black Label graphics already adopted for the Racing Zero CMPTZN family.
The real challenge was to improve the superlative Fulcrum Speed ​​55 DB with which the Speed ​​CMPTZN DB wheels share some technical details, such as the full carbon rim with "Twill" finish and the 2:1 spoke pattern . This time we wanted to optimize a high-end product by offering a further step in terms of smoothness and lightness .
We therefore relied on the refined technology of our CULT™ bearings which allow us to save weight (10 grams less than the Speed ​​55 DB) and achieve smoothness up to 9 times more than traditional solutions with a saving of up to 3, 5 Watts per pedal. In addition to a significant improvement in mechanical performance, the new Speed ​​CMPTZN DB wheel hubs also boast an aesthetic restyling and show off a matt black look in perfect balance with the black-on-black graphics of the rim.
The new models are available in the 2-WAY FIT version which allows you to mount both tubeless (for better smoothness and resistance to punctures) and clinchers (for the more traditionalists).
The internal width of the 19 mm channel also makes it possible to mount covers with different widths.
