Technology

MagicZero™

MagicZero works by continuously monitoring signals from the meter during movement. When signals meet specific criteria over a period of time, an average value is recorded. By accumulating this data, a new Zero-offset is ultimately recorded, which will save assembly, replacement and calibration times. MagicZero allows you to automatically manage the Zero-offset from the power meter without any specific action from the user. Typically, MagicZero measurements take place when the bike is stationary, resting or pedaling slowly. But, as noted above, the criterion was designed to reject values ​​inconsistent with the averaging records. The MagicZero algorithm was designed to run continuously and achieve stable convergence to the correct Zero-offset. If at any time an incorrect Zero-offset is applied, the algorithm is designed to self-correct without user intervention.

Note: The XX1 Boost power meter spider must be paired with an XX1 Eagle™ DUB 8-bolt crankset and an X-Sync 2™ chainring with 104 BCD (not included).
