Specifications:

3C MAXXGRIP

The 3C MAXXGRIP compound of Maxxis uses the most sticky and slow rebound rubber that we offer in a mountain bike tire. This high -traction compound is the same used by our best athletes from the Downhill World Cup and Enduro World Series and is now available in a variety of carcass configurations to cover all cyclists.

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless Ready tires offer the cyclist numerous advantages: the ability to use lower air pressure, which improves traction; less rolling resistance compared to a tire with a tube; And less chance of flattening because there is no tube. Tubeless Ready tires are marked by "TR" letters on the side.

Tubeless Ready tires must be mounted on tubeless compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealing have the additional advantage of sealing small drips. Make sure to regularly check the sealant and refresh it as needed as it will dry over time.

Wide Trail

The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the arrangement and profile of the tire tread on modern wider rims today. Traditional tires are designed around old and closer circles and can create an excessively square tire profile, leading to non -optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an internal width of the 35 mm circle, but have shown to work on an interval of internal widths of the 30-35 mm circle, depending on the cyclist's preferences.

DH Casing

The carcass Maxxis DH CASING for MTB from Downhill MTB is made up of two layers of 60TPI canvas with rubber coating ranging from heel to heel, providing further protection and lateral rigidity for enduro and downhill applications, with the addition of a layer in Butile rubber in the heel area, to offer protection to the edge of the rims and adds stability to the hips.
