The Rival XPLR eTap AXS rear derailleur is a dedicated 1x specific unit designed for use with the XPLR 10-44 cassette. It's a tidy drivetrain that tackles asphalt and singletrack with equal ease. Proven eTap wireless shifting logic, AXS connectivity and advanced chain management mean this derailleur does exactly what you want when you need it.

Technology
eTap
All the technology behind our new SRAM RED eTap groupset, such as wireless shifting, advanced battery charge management and mechatronic technologies, are designed to serve one ultimate purpose: to facilitate the most intuitive and consistent shifting available. This moving logic is called eTap. The right lever makes it harder, the left lever makes it easier, both levers move the front derailleur. Simple, unmistakable and intuitive.
AXS
AXS is SRAM's new bicycle component integration system that connects bicycle electronics and software. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to view battery status, change component behavior, customize controls, receive maintenance reminders and update firmware.

X-SYNC
SRAM X-SYNC 1x chainrings offer the highest level of performance and durability. The tall edges of the SRAM X-SYNC square teeth engage the chain sooner than traditional triangular shaped teeth. The sharp, narrow tooth profile, as well as the rounded beveled edges, help handle a deviated chain. To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, X-SYNC chainrings have been designed with mud-clearing recesses for the internal chain links and rollers. Designed in Germany, the X-SYNC rings are an integral part of the SRAM 1x drivetrain. Don't accept imitations.
