Cover Pirelli P Zero Race 4S Tubeless Ready

PZERO RACE 4S TLR is our first 4 -seasons racing tire with tubeless technology capable of providing high grip in all weather conditions and greater protection for dripping, while maintaining the characteristics of a racing tire of our PZERO range Race. This result was achieved thanks to the combination of Tubeless Speedcore technology, our latest evolution in terms of Carcassa, and the Smart Smartnet that has the best formulation for adherence to the wet and the chemical grip among our comparisons. Like the rest of the Pzero Race range, the Race 4s TLR PZERO is also produced in Italy in our new Bollate factory.

Technologies

Smartnet silica

Directly from his experience and know-how in motorsport, Pirelli introduces a patented running formulation into cycling, capable of guaranteeing maximum grip and smoothness on dry and wet. The elongated shape of the silica molecules, unlike what has been done so far with the common spherical molecular shape silice, allows a new level of sophistication of the tread compound, with consequent improvement of guidelability thanks to the possibility of orienting the compound in the sense of rolling. In addition, the improvement of the mechanical resistance of the tread achieved by the improved interaction of the silic with other components (such as the Aramidic fibers directly dispersed in compound), increases protection against drilling and the duration of the rubber.

Speedcore

The most performing tubeless-redy road structure of our range involves the use of a layer of mixed aramid compound that covers the internal layer of the tire allowing its air seal. This new structure makes the tire more resistant, thanks to the presence of the Aramis, but at the same time less rigid and faster, for the greater flexibility of the compound than a bead-to-well fabric. The carcass is then completed by a nylon canvas in 120tpi and an anti-forage layer, also in Aramide.
