Technologies

Gravity Shield casing
The tire carcass is made up of threads of different thicknesses which give strength, flexibility, performance and lightness to the tire depending on the various ranges. If the threads are more numerous and thin the construction will be lighter. Conversely, the thicker the threads, the fewer there will be, resulting in a sturdier tire.
The Gravity Shield carcass was designed specifically for Enduro with the 3x33 or 3x60 TPI structure that offers unparalleled traction and robustness.

Gum X3D mix
Rubber is one of the essential components of the tire and offers different performances depending on its characteristics. Gum X3D Tri-Compound is a combination of 3 compounds that offers maximum traction, durability and puncture resistance.

Tubeless Ready
UST Tubeless Ready tires can be mounted tubeless in certain conditions:

• use a Tubeless wheel;
• do not exceed the maximum pressure indicated;
• use an anti-puncture liquid;
• check tire pressure before each use.

Headbands designed to be flexible and light, invented and developed by Michelin, are made exclusively from aramid fibres, the same ones found in bulletproof vests. This textile fiber offers strong tensile strength despite having a very low weight.
