The Maxxis Minion DH tire is one of the most aggressive from Maxxis. Designed for enduro and downhill, the Minions work perfectly on dry terrain thanks to the double central block with a directional shape, to reduce resistance on dry terrain. The outer part offers the extra stability and grip you need when cornering at high speeds.

WT - Wide Trail

The WT construction optimizes the tire tread and its volume adapting it to the most modern rims. Traditional tires are designed starting from narrower rims and risk creating an excessively square profile, decreasing performance. WT tires are optimized for 35mm wide rims, and work correctly with 30 and 35mm rims.

TR-Tubeless Ready

UST certified Maxxis tubeless mountain bike tires feature the latest technology for the lightest tubeless tires. This technology offers better resistance to punctures, retains air better and is stronger at a lower weight than previous tubeless designs. By adding a thin layer of fabric covered with a special rubber compound, a lighter, stronger and more airtight carcass was obtained.


EXO+-Protection

A new EXO+ construction combines two of the best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer extends from heel to heel with a layer of EXO along the sidewalls. Together, these two materials create EXO+ which improves tread puncture protection by 27%, sidewall strength by 51% and pinch flat resistance by 28%.

3C MAXXGRIP

Maxxis' 3C MaxxGrip compound uses the stickiest, slowest rebound rubber we offer in a mountain bike tire. This high-traction compound is the same used by our top Downhill World Cup and Enduro World Series athletes and is now available in a variety of casing configurations to cover all riders.
