TECHNOLOGIES

NyTech Breaker
The new NyTech Puncture Protection was developed based on the consolidated Continental SafetySystem anti-puncture system. Nylon makes it as resistant to punctures and cuts as high-density fiber-reinforced Kevlar but offers lower rolling resistance and reduced weight. The NyTech system is halfway between the SafetySystem and the PolyX and is the most efficient anti-puncture system in its segment.

PureGrip Compound
Based on an active silica compound, this technology was originally created for medium range products but after intense development at the Research and Development center in Korbach (Germany) a new advanced compound was born with excellent grip and properties suitable for cross-country.
The new rubber compound, whose name PureGrip speaks for itself, sits just below BlackChili and is used in high-end products in both the road and mtb sectors. Together with great grip it also guarantees long life - both characteristics of Continental tires - which are built exclusively in the Hefei factory (Asia).
