SmartEVO Compound
The new SmartEVO compound uses a blend with 3 different polymers, each of which provides specific performance qualities to achieve the optimal balance of opposing characteristics, such as grip and rolling resistance. Pirelli has taken advantage of the experience developed in over 100 years of compound development in Motorsport, always racing its products at the highest level in every discipline. This extensive R&D knowledge has allowed Pirelli to create a ternary polymer blend with "smart" performance characteristics for bicycle tires as the basis of the exceptional properties of the SmartEVO compound, which results in improved dry and wet grip, while also providing lower rolling resistance. Pirelli has created a performance compound designed and tuned for all modern road cycling disciplines, from local races or World Tours to epic adventures, where the climate and road surfaces require high-performance tires in all circumstances.
